Since 1985, America has celebrated July as the nation’s official Park and Recreation Month.  Wahoo Mayor Jerry Johnson has proclaimed July as "Park and Recreation" month in the City of Wahoo.  Recreation enthusiasts are encouraged to take advantage of the many opportunities availalble at the parks and recreation facilities in Wahoo as well as through the formal recreation programs offered.  Wahoo Parks and Recreation plays a vital role in establishing and maintaining the quality of life in our community.
